Congratulations to the newly elected State Officers for the Michigan State Circle Columbian Squires! We’re especially proud that Circle 801’s own Sebastian Cooper has been elected to a state position (positions begin July 1st):

State Chief Squire-Elect: Josh Drouilard (Port Huron #591)

State Deputy Chief Squire-Elect: Sebastian Cooper (Detroit #801)

State Notary Squire-Elect: Brendan Olech (Dearborn Heights #758)

State Bursar Squire-Elect: Joe Gehlmann (Imlay City #2724)

State Marshal Squire-Elect: Brett Muylart (Richmond #2466)

State Sentry Squire: Pete Smith (Port Huron #591)

Congratulations also goes to Circle #801’s own Dylan Cooper, who will be finishing his term as State Chief Squire on June 30th. Dylan and Past State Chief Squire Sean Roland (another member of Circle 801) have just become 1st Degree members of Holy Cross Council! We hope to have them on board as counselors effective immediately.

Car Wash this weekend to Support Squires Circle 801

Rest in Peace SK Joe Murawski

It is with great sadness that we report that SK Joe Murawski has passed away today. He’s been a officer, honor guardsman and bingo chairman for many years.

The Rosary will be held Thursday, May 13th at 5PM with chalice ceremony immediately following at Martenson Funeral Home-Allen Park Chapel, 10915 Allen Rd, Allen Park, MI. On Friday, May 14th, he will then lie instate starting at 10AM with Funeral Mass starting at 10:30AM at St Cyprian Church, 13249 Pennsylvania Rd, Riverview, MI.

May his soul through the mercy of God rest in peace… Amen!

It is with great sadness that we report that SK Ray Robak has passed away today. He was our Worthy Financial Secretary for many years, and is survived by his wife, Lady Martha (Marty).

The Rosary will be held Wednesday, May 12th at 7PM with chalice ceremony immediately following at Risko Ferguson Family Funeral Home, 7100 Michigan Ave, Detroit, MI 48210. Funeral Mass will be on Thursday, May 13th at Our Lady Queen of Angels Church.

May his soul through the mercy of God rest in peace… Amen!

Tomorrow is the BLOW OUT you’re all waiting for… The Patty Joe’s Party featuring the Polish Muslims and Shamrock Shores!

There will be a LIMITED NUMBER of tickets available at the door, but they will sell fast!

The Squires will also have bowls of corned beef and cabbage or kielbasa and sour kraut for only $2.50 a bowl… WHAT A BARGAIN!

All the ‘cool kids’ will be there… You should be too!
